NSF Student Travel Award for CPS‑IoT Week 2026

The organizers of CPS‑IoT Week 2026 are pleased to announce the availability of student travel awards supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) under Award No. 2611601. Selected students will receive funding to support their travel to CPS‑IoT Week.

Important Dates

Application deadline: Saturday, May 2, 2026 (11:59pm AoE)

Notification of awards: Wednesday, May 6, 2026

Eligibility

The committee will use the following criteria to select the awardees:

  • The applicant must be currently enrolled in a degree program at a recognized U.S. institution of higher education with demonstrated research interest in CPS‑ or IoT‑related areas.
  • The student must have demonstrated financial need through the statements provided in the application.
  • Students who meet the above requirements shall receive preference based on these criteria:
    • U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents
    • Students who have not attended a CPS‑IoT Week in the past
    • Authors who are not presenting a paper at a CPS‑IoT Week event or whose papers were not selected for publication and would benefit from attending the conference

An application for the NSF student travel award must include the following information:

  • A statement from the student explaining how attending CPS‑IoT Week will benefit their research
  • A CV or résumé
  • Information on whether they will be presenting a paper or are a non‑presenting author for a paper at CPS‑IoT Week events
  • A cost estimation of attending CPS‑IoT Week
  • A support letter from the advisor stating:
    • The need for funding to support the student’s travel
    • How the student’s research interest is relevant to the CPS‑IoT Week community
