IEEE TCRTS Student Travel Grants

IEEE TCRTS provides Student Travel Grants to support the participation of students in RTAS and ICCPS events. Each grant will contribute towards partial reimbursement of travel costs. Based on the number of requests, the refunded amount may vary. The evaluation of applications is done by the IEEE TCRTS diversity SC. Students from the IEEE TCRTS chair's group (Liliana Cucu) and Vice-chair’s group (Björn Brandenburg) cannot apply for funding.

IMPORTANT DATES

• Application Deadline: April 30th, 2026 (AoE)
• Notification of Acceptance: May 4th, 2026 (AoE)

ELIGIBILITY

The award of the travel grants will be in accordance with the following guidelines:

• The applicant must be a current graduate student at an institution of higher education.
• The applicant must have a fully-paid student registration for RTAS or ICCPS and must physically attend the conference.
• Travel grants will be awarded on the basis of financial need. Preferences will be given to IEEE TCRTS affiliated members who do not have active grant funding and to underrepresented categories of students.
